Morning Reading Done!

I got into this routine of reading everyday (almost everyday) and writing (notes about what I read and the vocabulary words that I like).  I usually read my Bible and a personal development book.  From my Bible, I been stuck on the message in 1 Thessalonians 5:11. Here Paul is encouraging them to encourage and build each other up.  Whoa!  I read this a few days ago, but I stopped going further with my reading because these instructions really touched my heart and got me thinking.  Thinking how to encourage and build others up.  Huummmmm......

Now, for the personal development, I'm reading the Monk who sold his Ferrari by Robin Sharma.  My youngest son introduced me to this author.  I really like this books.  So, on page 94, he says 'Success on the outside begins with success on the inside."  Whoa!  Yes! Yes!  It's getting the mind, heart, soul, and spirit right....improving our inner worlds.  Yes! Yes!  Sometimes that "inner world" gets distracted by cares of the world and much more.  It brings to mind the Parable of the Sower from the Bible (shown in Matthew 13 & Luke 8).  It's about the seeds planted on the various soils (no soil, hard path, rocky, thorny, and good soil) and what happened to those seeds on those soils. When our inner world isn't well, it shows on our outer world.

ok.....Enough for now.....I gotta go workout!  It's the last day of 2022 and I want to finish STRONG!

Have an AWESOME  Super FitTastic Day!

Meeting a New Friends

A friend (whom I met through Zumba) informed me that he had friend visiting Ghana and he wanted us to meet.  I wasn't too sure about this since we hardly knew each other, but the person seemed really nice.  So, I decided to meet her.  No regrets. Her name was Ann Belvins.  She travelled to Ghana with her son, Zwa, to just explore the country for one week.  They lived in many places around the world.  Ghana was there first West African country they visited.  My husband and I had lunch with her and her son at the Labadi Beach Hotel.  We gave them a quick tour of the amenities that we enjoy there to give them ideas of possible activities they could do during their next visit.  We also connected them with our favorite shopping assistant at the Art Center to help ease their shopping experience.  My husband and I were so impressed with them, we invited them to our home to meet our children and hang out more.  The lady and I talked about life, family, travels, careers, and everythinggggg.  I truly enjoyed our conversations.  She really inspired me with the work she plans to do soon

.  She inspired me to be creative.  To do something creative with my time and allow it open other opportunities as I go.  Yes, she was right.  I been saying this to my children.  It was great to hear message and receive the inspiration from it.  God knows how to send his angels to us at the appointed time.  I'm grateful that we meet.  AWESOMENESS!

This is a picture my family and I took with Ann & Zwa.  We had an AWESOME time indeed!
